Rusty Lovett
Rusty Lovett helped Astra Bank launch Astra Investment Services in the fall of 2013. Astra Investment Services is affiliated with Securities America, a top 10 brokerage firm in the United States, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. Prior to joining the Astra Bank family, Rusty had worked for Commerce Bank Brokerage and Insurance Services, where he was the Western Regional Sales Manager and worked for Prudential Financial Services and was the New Agent of the Year in the United States, in 1996.
Rusty graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Geology. After working in the oil industry, Rusty changed careers into the financial services industry in 1995. Rusty has attained his FINRA Series 6,7,24, 63 and 66 licenses as well as the Life and Health Insurance licenses, which allows Rusty to assist customers with any financial need.
Rusty’s wife, Patsy, has been a realtor affiliated with J.P. Weigand Real Estate in Hutchinson, Kansas, for 12 years, and has been the top producing realtor in Reno County for 4 straight years. Rusty and Patsy have two children. Their daughter, Lauren, is a Kansas State University graduate and is a Corporate Recruiter for Whole Foods, in Austin, Texas. Lauren and her husband, Eric, welcomed a daughter, Ellie, into their family in 2017. Their son, Ross, is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy where he played football for the Air Force Falcons for 4 years. Ross is currently serving his country as a Captain in the United States Air Force in Boston, Massachusetts.
Hutchinson, Kansas has been home for Rusty and his family for 32 years. Rusty has been active in his church, community boards, coaching various sports, fundraising and promotion of the community. Rusty wants to provide excellent customer service and believes in always helping customers efficiently and in a friendly manner. He knows that providing great customer service is the most important way to set a business apart from others of its kind.
