According to the National Council on Aging, almost 90 percent of the financial abuse committed against older Americans is done by someone they know. More than ever, it is imperative for seniors to select a trustworthy person to properly manage their finances and personal affairs.

Across the state of Kansas, community banks serve local customers, businesses and families each year – resulting in a significant impact on the local economy. During the week of April 23 – April 28, 2018, Community Bankers Association of Kansas (CBA) and Astra Bank recognize Community Bank Week and honor this impact with several activities at the local bank level.

No problem! All of our locations will be open until 6:00 so you have plenty of time to join in the festivities.

Man, where has the year 2017 gone? It felt like the Christmas decorations were just put away not that long ago and here we are getting them out again. Although it seems like each year passes by at a faster rate than the year before, we know it is important to step back, take a deep breath, and thank our valued customers for a great year. We think, and we hope you agree, that doing so with an array of holiday treats and hot beverages is the perfect way to put a bow on the 2017 year.

We were privileged to have had the opportunity to do just that last week with an open house event. Months of decisions, planning, and construction were now complete.
