Is Mobile Banking Free?

Yes, our Mobile Banking service is free. Zelle® person-to-person payments and bill pay are both free. Message and data rates may apply.

Do I need to be enrolled in Online Banking to use Mobile Banking?

Yes. You must first be enrolled in Online Banking in order to use Mobile Banking.

Do I need to sign up for Mobile Banking?

Yes. Enrollment for Mobile Banking can be done through the mobile app when you first log in or by logging in to your Online Banking account, accessing your Profile, and then using the Mobile Banking option.

Is there a wait period to use Mobile Banking?

There is no wait period.

Do I need a new username or password?

No. Use the same Online Banking user ID and password. If you change your Online Banking password, the Mobile Banking password will automatically change as well.

How do I install the Smartphone App?

The app can be found by searching for “Astra Bank” using your smartphone’s application store, either the Apple App Store or Google Play. Once downloaded, simply use your Online Banking credentials to log in.

What if I lose a mobile device?

You can deactivate the device by following these steps:

  • Log into Online Banking and access your Profile
  • Under Mobile Banking click on Manage Devices
  • Locate your phone and select the option "Stop using this device for Mobile Banking"
  • Or call us at 785-527-2268

How do I set up alerts?

It's easy. Just log in to Online Banking and access Alerts then set up your alert preferences.

Can I use Bill Pay on the Mobile App?

Yes. To use mobile bill pay, you must first enroll in bill pay through the online banking.

Can I add new payees from Mobile Bill Pay?

Yes. Click on Manage Contacts to add new contact.

How do I access Zelle® on the Mobile App?

To begin using Zelle® on the mobile app, you must first be enrolled in bill pay through our online banking. How should I endorse a Mobile Deposit check?

Be sure that the back of the check is endorsed, as usual, and include the words ‘Astra Bank - For Mobile Deposit’ to identify the check as a Mobile Deposit.

When are funds available from a Mobile Deposit?

Mobile Deposit processing days are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Funds will be made available within 2 hours after the deposit has been reviewed and accepted by Astra Bank.

What should I do with the paper check after a deposit?

We recommend securely storing the check for 14 business days, then destroying the original paper check.

What types of checks can be deposited?

Any check drawn from a U.S. financial institution can be deposited. The following items cannot be deposited:

  • International checks
  • U.S. savings bonds
  • Cashier's checks
  • Money orders
  • Travelers checks
  • Third party checks

What dollar limits apply to Mobile Deposit?

You may make any number of Mobile Deposits with a limit per check and a daily limit of $5,000. Each Mobile Deposit includes one check only.
