Astra Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of Jason Kennedy as Hays Market President. Kennedy comes to Astra Bank from his previous position as Ellis County Health Services Director in Hays, KS.

As we approach October 2nd, 2021, the day that we will be permanently closing our 3310 Vine St location in Hays, we would like to give an update on the various upcoming changes in our Hays Market.

Astra Insurance Services is excited to announce a long-time Chapman staple, Chip Edwards Insurance Store, is now operating within Astra’s Chapman location at 1130 N. Marshall.  Edwards Insurance was opened in 1947 by Chip’s father, Vic Edwards.  Chip took over the business in 1973 and merged with Astra Insurance services in January 2019.  We are proud to continue the legacy of this business with such deep roots.
