If you have reason to believe your bank account information is compromised, like your account number or debit card number, contact Astra Bank immediately so we can take the necessary steps to ensure your money is protected. If your ATM/Debit card is lost or stolen, please call our 24/7 Debit Card Support line at (833) 699-0106 immediately or contact any Astra Bank location. Identity Theft

Do you believe that your identity has been stolen or that thieves may have your Social Security Number? Follow these steps from IdentityTheft.gov to take action to get it resolved.

If you are a Benefits Checking customer, utilize your Cyberscout® Identity Theft Resolution by calling 1-866-602-2056 and use ID# IDT12006.

Compromised Logins and Passwords

Scammers may have utilized a fake website to get access to your login information. Update your credentials for any websites that use that same login and utilize two-factor authentication if it is available.

Visit the FTC Website for Guidance

The action you need to take depends upon the nature of the scam. Visit the FTC.gov website for information on what to do if you were scammed.

Gather Information and Report the Fraud

Gather all the information you can about the fraudulent activity including any communication between you and the scammer and any names of contacts. Determine exactly what type of fraud occurred. This information will be helpful when reporting the fraud.

Report the scam or fraud to your local law enforcement agency. While local police may be unable to pursue the fraud that occurred (depending on the nature of the fraud), having proof that you reported it can be helpful.

Finally, visit the FTC’s Report Fraud website in order to help the FTC combat scammers and to get more information on how to protect yourself.
